I got the Soondubu jiggae a spicy tuna kimbap. The kimbap was okay, i’ve had better. But the soup was absolutely amazing and heartwarming. They gave such a big portion! View all feedback.
May not have ordered the right dish because I thought the chicken breast rice set was decent but a bit too basic to enjoy. Liked the concept of a no frills Korean canteen in the back of a bodega but perhaps I’ll try the kimbap next time.
I usually get the spicy pork with vegetables over rice and every one of the kimbob I’ve tried has been great. I just want to keep exploring the menu!
Such a hidden gem!! amazing service and authentic korean food hidden in the back of a deli. definitely a must try!!
It’s not a place to dine in, but food was good. I went there for lunch. There was no line and it took them 7 minutes to prepare my order to go. I ordered kimpab with tuna and avocado, it was tasty. Total price was around $15 which is a bit more than I expected but it was enough food for lunch.
YUMS!!! We stopped by today and we’re very happy with our meal. She makes everything fresh when you order. The portion for the price was perfect we got lots of food. This is definitely a hidden gem inside this deli. There’s also sitting and lots of other options. The owner was also very kind : give her a try for authentic Korean food!!
