Fantastic dinner! Still thinking about the shrimp dumplings in pho broth. Easy to make a reservation and the restaurant is very close to the L stop. Would recommend for a date or a meet up with a few friends. View all feedback.
What Brett C doesn't like about Falansai:
Food was good quality but pretty standard dishes for a heavy price. We asked about whether we ordered enough food for two people the server suggested to add which was way too much food for us. View all feedback.
Best place for some great food and very nice music memorabilia and Greta live music
I’m glad I ate here. The market vegetable soup was heartwarmingly delicious. I felt the ceviche sauce (juice)? Was a little salty and unbalanced in flavor. The lamb skewers were also pretty good. Definitely worth dining at.
Thank you for rice bowls. lotus root, okra, eggplants sauteed and grilled pork over rice are yummy yaw yaw
We came here for the pho and the waiter told us they frequently change the menu and they do not provide pho anymore. If so, it is better to remove all the pho photos that might be misleading. Food is okay but very overpriced!! I wish the waiter didn’t judge and push on how much food was ordered.
Overall it’s an interesting spin of the Vietnamese cuisine but it’s different than what I expected. The menu is a bit misleading — it’s pretty hidden on their website to begin with. Appetizers, shared dishes and main dishes are all mixed together, and it doesn’t tell you the portion. There’s no label for spicy dishes so even though the food is done well, it may not suit everyone’s taste.
