This place in Chinatown is fantastic! The atmosphere and decor really transport you to Hokkaido, Japan. The food is amazing—one of the best meals we've had in the city, and it's very reasonably priced. The clientele is mostly locals, primarily in their 20s. I highly recommend it for an authentic New York dining experience that's away from the typical tourist spots! View all feedback.
What Kevin Nguyen dislikes about Dr. Clark:
Went to dinner on Monday March 27. We experienced poor customer service from our server as we did not feel like we were treated with respect. There was a minor miscommunication regarding how many noodle servings our table would receive, and we felt our questions and concerns were not addressed respectfully. We were calmly trying to explain the situation, but our server stormed off and gave us an attitude. The scallop... View all feedback.
While one of the few places that’s open late In Chinatown, be wary of what you are going here for. While small appetizers and cocktails are good, avoid the main dishes. I ordered a simple Yakisoba which turned out to be one of the worst I’ve ever tasted. The dish was way too salty and in which I had to embarrassingly ask to return the dish back. Fortunately, the waitress was understanding and handled the situation with kindness and professionalism.
Lunch is affordable and delicious. Lamburg steak lunch set is juicy and flavorful. Vegetable kakiage is crispy.Real Japanese food made by a Japanese chef. A Server is friendly and nice.Nice comfort food. Recommended??Don't forget the delicious pudding ? for your dessert.

I absolutely adore this restaurant and I hope to be a regular here as long as I'm living in NYC. Everything here is delicious and gorgeous. You must get the lamb chops, the sushi, the fried chicken, and the cocktails. There are very tasty Hokkaido-inspired desserts too. The restaurant itself is lovely and a very cool place to hang out.
