Berlin Currywurst - Broad Channel

Awful experience, bad food and poor customer service.

Fantastic and delicious food! The side order of potato was cooked to perfection with some fragrant chopped onion. The currywurst is a classic must-have! The vibe is nice, located inside Chelsea Market. It's a good place to hang out with friends and also to take family on an outing.

The Currywurst tastes great, just as if you were in Germany. Unfortunately the opening hours are very “fluid”. I came two times for lunch on busy weekend days when the entire Chelsea market was bustling, BUT the one place not open was Berlin Currywurst. Both times there were other disappointed customers and when finally encountering someone that seemed like staff they did not know when they would open. Great place for german sausage. Good variety and selection of sausages including non-meat sausages. Their spice level is no joke. Spice level 2 is like tabasco hot sauce. Spice level 4 is probably 10K scovilles Also has good selection of beer too.

We've visited Berlin Currywurst pre-covid last year. Delicious spot for all times of the day.: This spot is located within Chelsea Market, right around the corner as you enter from the Starbucks side. Yelp isn't attaching my photos for some reason. Listing our items below, sans beer. Nothing like an ice cold beer in the dead of winter with wursts for breakfast. Can't wait to return.
