What Alexandria B likes about Benoit New York:
The food (except for the tarte flambé was very good, I would give that 5 stars. Our issue is with the service. We indicated that we were having a celebration and was seated with one of the only tables that had no table cloth. Everyone but us was offered to have their coat taken into the closet which we felt was weird. We were then told that we needed to order our appetizer and entrees at once for timing but it still... The food was very average, plain and generally not a lot of flavour. The wine was good. The service was slow. My partner ordered the duck and the vegetables were undercooked. When we sent the meal back, the exact same plate came back, but cold and 20 mins later. Not very impressed and considering the of the meals — you can get much better in NYC. View all feedback.
