I don’t have enough good things to say about Back Pocket Bar, and especially Monique! We live in the area and this is truly Hell’s Kitchen’s best kept (local) secret. Monique knows how to throw an amazing party every night we’ve gone, so much so our voices are always recovering for a couple days! Whenever family or friends visit we also always take them here. Love showing them that yes even in NYC, there are still places like Back Pocket Bar where it feels like you’re catching up with old friends, or singing in the car as a teen again. My parents still always ask about Monique!
A gem on this earth. Will forever bring friends here on Friday night for Monique, the immaculate vibes, and awesome drinks. This bar is a HK staple, and yes pocket bar is great too, but back pocket is 10x better. The community, wholesome. The vibes, electric. The bartenders, best there ever was. Literally Weiwei and Monique be putting in the work. Dancing, performing, making everyone feel welcome, and literally running the entire bar by themselves. My glass is never empty, there is always a good song on, hit it at the right time of night and everyone is out of their seat singing along. Could not recommend this bar enough to anyone looking for a perfect night out.
Back pocket bar is my favorite bar in NYC and nothing short of amazing! It has become my go-to neighborhood/ Cheers bar thanks to all the positive vibes. While it 's always great, it 's NEXT LEVEL when Mo is behind the bar! Mo makes you feel like family immediately when you walk in, takes care of you, and makes you feel right at home (PLUS she always puts on a great show with the best playlist that gets the whole bar ROCKIN ' . Do yourself a favor and check out BPB ASAP!

The top small bar in Hell's Kitchen is definitely Pocket Bar! It has a lively and diverse crowd that's busy yet comfortable. The owners, Suzy and Joe, are some of the most savvy, kind, and caring people you'll ever meet, and their staff is just as entertaining and capable. Whether you're in the mood for wine, beer, cider, popcorn, or Sharknado sangria, you'll have a great time here!
