The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed a nice pint of lager while listening to wonderful music. However, the tables and chairs were not very clean. I could smell a not-so-pleasant cloth used to clean the tables. Despite this, during the summer, this pub would be a great spot to visit with its large outdoor seating area and lively music. Amazing curry, probably one of the best I had in bristol! curry, rice, naan, papadum and chutney for £8ish lapping! owner is a nice guy who couldn't do enough for us.
Second time for Sunday Lunch, fantastic meal, Michelin star standard! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and sourced by a local butcher. Three of us all had steak Sunday lunch, served with succulent parsnips, carrots, crispy roast potatoes and think and luxury gravy. And for...a crazy £2 extra we had a serving of cauliflower cheese which was big enough for 3 of us to share. We actually wouldn't go anywhere else now for Sunday Lunch, next time we are going to try the Lamb Shank, or maybe the belly of pork. Highly recommended, just try, you will love it. Thanks to the chef, great job 5 star
We have never been in here before, so popped in for drinks on our way past. Everyone was super friendly from bar staff to people in the pub. I even had a quick game of darts with the locals. Seems like a nice warm friendly...place
This pub is just AMAZING!!! we had the best sunday roast ever. Good options of meat and veg, nice size and better price. We will come back!
