What irvd2021 doesn't like about Portcullis:
It's a gd pub and a great atmosphere but on a sat night it has a dance floor and music. The one thing that let's it down is the coldness inside and makes you want to leave and not stay. Shame its not warm inside. And heaters in the beer garden. View all feedback. What User likes about Portcullis:
a great way to end the week. a pint of blue moon (with a piece orange) sit in the sun on the terrace surrounded by flowers and great company. the best pub in clifton. View all feedback.

read moreThe local pub scene presents a mixed bag of atmospheres and experiences. While some establishments offer lively dance floors and cozy outdoor terraces perfect for socializing over a pint, others suffer from a lack of warmth—both literally and figuratively. Reviews highlight cleanliness issues, with rampant complaints about dirty restrooms and subpar customer service. Patrons express disappointment over overpriced food, suggesting a need for better management and refurbishment. Yet, amidst critique, some gems shine with friendly staff, unique decor, and an impressive beer selection, proving that not all pubs are created equal in this bustling neighborhood.
