Sunset Cafe - Bristol
Sunset Cafe
Description
This cozy local diner offers great service and delicious food, with generous portions. The salmon Benedict is described as exquisite and full of flavor. While the dessert, funky monkey, was a bit dry but still tasty. The prices are reasonable, with a breakfast option including toast, eggs, speck, sausages, and a pancake for $5.50. The place can get a bit loud, but not overwhelmingly so. Overall, diners praise the staff and express a desire to return, making it a new favorite spot for many. Highly recommended for a pleasant dining experience.

Recent Update: They have now officially inaugurated the gorgeous and roomy new space that was added! I was given the largest and coziest table by the window. The meals and atmosphere were enjoyed by everyone that attended with me! It was the best breakfastand brunch I ever had in RI! They serve classical American breakfast and lunch menus but the taste was not typical. I orderedSriracha egg benedict and my friend ordered Crab meat egg benedict. Both were delicious! Especially, the porched eggs werecooked perfectly in the way that porched eggs were supposed to be! Crab cake was not my cup of tea as the crab cakes I had weresalty and smelly. But the crab cake was not salty at all with full of crab flavor. In addition, the crews were super friendlyand kind!
One of my favorite restaurants in the area starting from my frist visit. Awesome staff and great service. Food was delicious. Finaly had some biscuits and gravy after so long since it's hard to find it in New England. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed a delicious brunch here. The sriracha Benny was delicious but could have used a touch more spice. Gwen was a fabulous server. We?ll definitely be back the next time we?re in town.
Recently spent a few days in Bristol visiting family. Had the pleasure of having breakfast here twice. Both experiences were top notch. From the polite friendly staff to the delicious food. Nice to see they are expanding so more people can take advantage ofthe experience.
Very cozy local small diner. great service. it was pretty busy on Sunday afternoon - that was a great sign, so we had to wait a few minutes. my salmon benedikt was exquisite - full taste, beautifully presented and very generous on salmon. but our dessert funky monkey should be french toast bananenbrot filled with nutella - was incredibly dry, but delicious! I have to check. will be coming back!
