We went there last night with friends and we really enjoyed this place. We have lived in Bristol for 5 years and have never been here. We 'll come back. What a nice cozy fire, the place is spotless (even the bathrooms were spotless, which is a pleasure in today 's world and our food and beer were great. The owner and his wife are nice people and we had a good time there. I had a spicy tomato soup that was more herby than spicy, with just a hint of spicy . It was quite good and warming on a chilly evening. They offer a 4 cheese grilled cheese that is amazing with soft and gooey cheeses that was perfect to dunk in the soup. We also split their warm bread pudding with a whiskey sauce that was amazing for dessert. Nice place, nice people. My only wish was for a burger to be on the menu, but you can 't always get what you want. : Their selection is mainly soup, salad, sandwiches and flatbreads. I think possibly they change things up now and then as specials are on a blackboard, so maybe they 'll take a hint and have a burger? It 's fine, though, as I really did enjoy my meal.

Hidden gem right by newfound lake and wellington state park!

Great hidden spot! Family run restaurant and brewery. Beer and food are both great. Definitely recommend checking it out.

This is a beautiful, clean and well-kept B B less than a mile from Newfound Lake. The grounds are well planted, and every room, both common rooms as well as our own, were clean and attractively decorated. Heidi, its Innkeeper, was friendly and generous and provided sumptuous breakfasts every morning including coffee and tea, a variety of juices, several cereals, fresh fruit and a baked item such as muffins or scones and a hot dish such as pancakes and stuffed French toast and omelets. She definitely went out of her way to see that we were satisfied and comfortable. Needless to say, we look forward to staying at Pleasant View Bed Breakfast again!
