On a Sunday cycling trip, we decided to stop here, and with the sun shining, we enjoyed sitting in the garden alongside the locals. There were music speakers set up, and it was quite loud, but we were very happy. It reminded me of the familiar atmosphere of an old Bristol pub, where the locals make everyone feel right at home. That's one of the reasons I moved to Bristol 30 years ago! View all feedback.

This lovely and cozy pub-restaurant lies between Chippenham and Bristol. We stopped here for breakfast and had a delightful experience. We ordered the English breakfast, which was both delicious and well-prepared. The restaurant, dining area, and restrooms were clean, although there is still some room for improvement. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place for a full English breakfast. Thank you!
Great pub! It's full of locals, but we didn't feel like we were being watched. We'll definitely come back again.
Had a good, good working room there. good maintenance for future nights. well outside of protection and terrace.
Called in for food after long walk. Unfortunately not available but the friendly help and advice given by the landlord was good enough to make it worth staying for a pint before going for lunch .
