A new favourite place for me and would highly recommend to anyone. The food was total perfection truly exquisite. The service was immaculate and the venue is charming. Big thank you to the team for making it such a wonderful night!
Very expensive. Tasty but small portions. I had a steak, chips and a rice pudding and one cup of coffee. Cost me £70. The steak was small and came with no vegetables. I'd recommend there if your rich. Im not.
We attended for Mother’s day had to pre book our food prior to the day. On the day our food was served quickly, 4 roast beef dishes were served stone cold, we informed the serving team who informed us they would heat them up in the microwave. The roast potatoes were rock hard,
Expensive, small portions and think the chef on that night must have been a smoker as the food was really over seasoned. We booked to have an early pre-theatre meal. They had a price fixe menu on their website so we thought we could get that (the early bird clearly stated it wasn't available on certain days but there were no conditions stated on the price fixe) Sadly it wasn't available and as we were going to a show we thought we would not try and find a table for 6 at short notice. The steaks were fine but the fact you have to buy all the sides and any sauces on top means the cost of the meal mounted. The vegetarian options were limited and very small ...given vegetables are much cheaper and less filling than meat the small size of the portions was a bit of a rip off. The restaurant was very dark and unfortunately there was a really drunk chap letting the whole room know about his ex-wives failings! I would not go back as it was really quite expensive once all the extras were added, the food wasn't stand out and there are loads of better options in the town centre.
A party of 4. All of us had the beef. 2 of those say that the beef was very grizzly . Mines wasn't, but the beef was paper thin and the portion was tiny, same with the other person. The actual beef was top quality in taste though. Potatoes and veg were good, but nothing special and the cauliflower cheese was very disappointing. We definitely won't be returning unfortunately.
