This is a lovely family-owned restaurant that I have noticed for years but never had the chance to try until recently. It was highly recommended to me, and I have already been back three times! I have tried a variety of dishes from the menu, and they have all been delicious. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are affordable, and there are plenty of Halal options available as well. I asked the staff there how long it 'll gonna take for the chicked skewers to be done. They said 15 min. I mentioned that I only have 30 min lunch break and I need to pick the right food to get something to eat. I also mentioned about last time when again the waiting time wasn 't the one communicated in the first place. This place is a little gem, I was so totally surprised with the quality of food and presentation as well as the extremely reasonably priced menu. It’s a clean, cosy and homely and the staff lovely and friendly, Me and my daughter had the large breakfast, and it was well cooked and delicious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant, and will be a regular.
This is an excellent place to swing by for breakfast! The portions are excellent and presentation surpasses expectation at the price bracket! Although there were slight hitches along the way; the guys handled the snags really well and kept us informed. I really recommend it!
With a deep heart I am about to write this review! I was recommended this cafe by one of my very good friend . And also this is one of very very few cafe is bristol who also got Halal option available. So i decided to Visit the cafe with my family. We ordered breakfast and tea! After 10 minutes food is no where near !I was really confused why it is taking so long for the breakfast to come down Because there were only one lady customer and two male customers there already having their food so i couldn’t see physically anyone they are preparing the food in kitchen or any explanation why it is taking long. In the mean time more customer started walking in and i could see they are busy taking orders for them but no one is getting served! Any how after at least 15-20 mins of wait, FOOd arrived! But Wait where are the Toast?? Waited few mins as the might be coming but i could see the lady working there is busy serving others food as well! Anyways no toast coming today so i had to get up myself and ask if i have read the menu wrong or do i need to order them separately! Girl behind the counter said they are coming.... No apology or any explanation why they didn’t get served with breakfast and why i had to wait and get up and ask them on the counter. Anyways never mind. Took a bite or two and there was strong smell of vinegar/brine coming from button mushroom served. I can clearly tell the were not fresh but from the Tin. All of previous waiting and food not served properly put me off straight away and i asked the lady i don’t want the food and take it back. mind i only had 1-2 mushroom and bite of sausage). Gave the breakfast back! Few mins later lady from kitchen came to me and said is there anything wrong with food? I asked her why it took 15-20 mins for a breakfast to come down and why the breads were not served with the breakfast? Instead she said the breakfast my mrs order had to go in oven twice! I asked how i am supposed to be knowing this ? And what was wrong with other two breakfast , why they didnt get served with bread. No answer but she said shall I pack it for you. I replied no please i have lost my appetite because of all what happened! The lady who seems to be the owner/manager clearly did not care at all. She did not apologised or even tried a little to explain or make an effort to make things better. She just walked off. Anyways I did not have food there . My son did not enjoy his food either! Button mushroom were disgusting and smelly. Anyways went to pay in the end and they gladly charged me for three breakfast and tea despite what experience we went through! I do not expect any apology or any thing back from them BUT i am honestly very very much disappointed with the highest level of ignorance and non professionalism.

I end up having a full day of work without eating anything.
Not very good. I only wanted a bacon sandwich and coffee but they got my order wrong and after a good 15 minutes of waiting patiently they brought me out a full breakfast. I told them that I had just wanted a sarnie. I then waited for a good 20 minutes before I finally got my sarnie but with absolutely no apology or explanation for the unnecessary long wait. I used to be a chef and if I got someone's order wrong I would go all out to make amends as quickly as possible but they just carried on serving other people who came in way after me, people who hilariously were having full breakfast's but no one had the common sense to put the bacon they were cooking for them into my long delayed sarnie. As stated before with no apology I would definitely never go back there again.
