Don't stress about the dress code; we've seen people in sports tops, and one guy even wore a football jersey. The food is fantastic, and the service is good overall, although we had to ask three times for some BBQ sauce, by which time we had nearly finished our meal. The Marriott is located in the hotel, adding a touch of glamour to the experience. One of our party was celebrating a birthday, but there was no acknowl... View all feedback.

Tasty food. We had a few drinks in the bar area while waiting for our table- and the bar looked understaffed with tables being dirty. The restaurant was ok, food was tasty and staff friendly and welcoming. The place seemed a bit disorganised though. View all feedback.
We were in a series of miller and carter restaurants. overall a very cleaner than tasteful place. eating was a good standard. service was excellent. a small mix with our order with the kitchen, but our waiter was very apologetic and gave us free drinks for our inconvenience. if I'm ever in bristol again, I would visit
Cheddar mushrooms a little dry but service by the young man was excellent over all a very good experience
We had a lovely family meal this evening. Our waiter couldn't have been more helpful. He was brilliant and went the extra mile to make the celebration of our daughter-in-law's graduation, memorable and special. The food was tasty and to a high standard Thank you!

Looked forward to this meal for a while, only to be disappointed. Visited on a Sunday evening after a busy Saturday.. apparently! It shouldn 't matter when we visit, the management should be aware that it was a busy booked Saturday and order more supplies for the following days. We were shown to our table and asked if we wanted to order drinks, the bottle of wine my wife and daughter asked for had sold out. We then perused the menu and after a while our waitress arrived to take the orders only to tell us that the steak my wife had ordered was unavailable (rump), but also other sections of the menu were also sold out. We eventually ordered our meals a bit later, I was happy with the steak I 'd asked for but the 'lobster ' tail was far from what I 'd expected. It was either a rather juvenile lobster or a large prawn, certainly not worth the £9.50 price tag. As I said, my two 5oz fillet mingons were very good, perfectly cooked to medium rare as requested. The real issue I had was that when I offered to pay, the £50 gift card (gift from my daughter for father 's day) was apparently declined by the 'machine ', 3 or 4 times. This made me feel pretty awkward and my daughter pretty upset, it was eventually accepted. I asked to speak to a manager. The management were very cold and appeared uncaring as to my predicament. Outcome: to the table waiter/ress, please let your customers know what 's off the menu on arrival. To the management, train your staff on the correct method of checking the balance of a gift card and be a little more caring! I 'll not be returning any time soon.
