On a surprisingly busy Tuesday night, we had no trouble getting a table. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the music was entertaining, set against a modern and thoughtfully designed interior. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the desserts looked impressive (though sadly, we couldn’t fit any in). The cannelloni, along with the recommended Peroni, was delicious and paired perfectly with the m... View all feedback.
I would give this place six stars if I could! We had the most incredible calamari, risotto, and seafood pasta. The two servers, especially one named Keerl, were very friendly, attentive, and lovely. The dining experience and atmosphere were fantastic. I will definitely come back one day!
I was heading to see an art exhibit and was looking to get food before I went. I walked from the bus to the exhibit and found Don.G only a few minutes from the exhibit. I arrived at 545 pm and the women at the front said she could sit me but needed the table by 730pm. I had a 7pm ticket so it was perfect.. I salt down and was pleased to see all the seafood choices they had on the menu. The order the prawns and the mussels. The prawns were a nice size , bonus with adding tiny prawns. The dressing/ side salad of the dish really had tons of flavor and even was really a refreshing dish. The mussels were covered in the tomato/garlic sauce and did blend very nicely with the mussels. Over all really enjoyed the food here.
Quality Italian food. pizzas were very big (we went papa giuseppe and goat cheese) and the appetizers (both calamaris) were perfect. left very full and satisfied and would return happy again. highly recommended for high quality Italian cuisine in bristol.
All ways the best Italian restaurant to been going to the restaurant for over 30yrs best calamari in Bristol and many other dishes I have had over the years it was were my husband used to take me before and after we got married anyway staff are lovely and all ways helpful
Like a hug from your favourite aunt this place always feels so familiar and reliable. Maybe because I always order the exact same thing, I can't resist those giant prawns that are always seemingly on the specials board. Portions are intimidating (perfect to take those relatives to who always complain about portion size... and staff are very friendly. Some of those I went with said it was a touch on the salty side for them, and the prices have definitely gone up since the pandemic and endless roadworks around Temple Meads, but I personally have no complaints.
