Atomic Burger - Bristol
Atomic Burger
Description
Overall, Atomic offers a unique and nostalgic dining experience with a variety of tasty burgers. The environment is nice, with nerdy-themed decor adding to the charm. While the staff is friendly and helpful, some reviewers were disappointed with the quality of the burger itself. Others praised the quick delivery service and the delicious pulled pork burger. Prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is inviting. Although some aspects could be improved, such as the freshness of the buns and the atmosphere, Atomic remains a popular choice for burger enthusiasts.

We had heard good things but were disappointed with the quality of the burger. It was fine, but nothing special. Waitress was very friendly. Restaurant was very hot as well which was quite off putting!
Absolutely enjoyed my evening out at the Atomic Burger. The staff were extremely helpful and even stayed open later to accommodate our large group. I ordered the Hot Dog with the sweet potato fries which was delish!! What’s amazing is the decor!! Full of memorabilia from the 80’s prepare for flashbacks as you see, VHS cassettes, Thunderbirds, Ninja Turtles, Harrison Ford/Star Wars, Gremlins, Care Bears, PAC man, Super Mario adorning the walls, ceiling and even the floor!! It was a delight to literally look at everything and every time we looked up we found something new. Thank you for great service, lovely food and an amazing night!!
Warm welcome, fantastic waitress, timely arrival of food. Awesome burgers, fantastic flavours, great presentation, quality ingredients. Topped off by memory provoking surroundings we all had a wonderful time, would definitely recommend.
We walked in sat down and we’re completely ignored for 5 minutes. I asked if we ordered at the counter and the guy said ‘did you just come in and sit down’ . Anyway he continued to ignore us for another 5 minutes so we walked out. Shame as we have had nice family dinners here before, not sure if I’ll go back again.
Originally we were to go into planet pizza next for on a night out but by 8.55 they had run out of pizza bases (you had one job! Anyway we couldnt do that so opted for atomic burger next door. The decor is very retro but cool and the staff were nice and helpful. We ordered something called the 'michelle ' burger Came out pretty quick and looked average on the plate at best (decent amount of fries Thats where the joy ended Im afraid. Soggy fries, a cold 'just from the fridge ' brioche bun and basically whatever this michelle burger was, it fell apart and out the sides. what I did eat was overfried and basically smush. Its not nice and never were my mates. Add that to the fact were just had to have something to 'fill a hole ' and 12-13 for the privilege. genuinely would give it a 2 out of 10 and thats only because at least the fries and burger were hot. In honesty should have found a chip shop or tesco meal deal up the road. Never again. Grim!
