We went tonight for dinner and drinks. Look the service was excellent but the drinks are so outrageously expensive I couldn't enjoy it. The food was pleasant. Not great for vegetarians! But sorry guys couldn't get past the drinks bill. Way over the top. Won't be going back anytime soon. View all feedback.
Excellent service! Great food Would recommend it to everyone Each dish was excellent tasty and well cooked.
Since we tried a survey(so many great restaurants in brisbane now) and we were not disappointed.. great staff, great food love the flour balls, good wine list and good coffee
My wife booked not expecting huge things. We also waited quite happily for maybe 20 mins for our table. When it came time, the english chap serving us was very apologetic we waited for a booking and asked if we would like a complimentary wine...of choice i tried to pay for them as we wanted wine anyway but they would not accept it so we gave a decent tip in instead. Both the guy that greeted us, the man surveying and the french lady could not do enough for us. They were busy too professional and patient. Note: i am wheat allergic and they made very effort to help. Thank you Survey Co! Food was very good from the get go. Both the bug lamb entree 's were very good. The duck for two was a huge dish that, well presented and very naturally cooked not over seasoned. Veggies good, champagne lovely and good recommendations from both servers. In a time when there is a glut of restaurants and 'windging ' customers about prices, these guys shine with service backed by great food. I had great views of the chefs and they were meticulous with all dishes they prepped. Lovely to watch. We will be back.
My husband and I came here last night and the meal has stayed with both of us! We ordered the pork belly bao and scallops appetizers; for mains hubby got Steak Frites done to a turn while I indulged in the gnocchi, plus a side...of the garlic kale; for dessert lavender creme brûlée and bread pudding. We've been in Aussie for 2 weeks and this was, by far, the best meal we ate the entire trip. Honestly, it's the best meal we've eaten in quite some time! The drinks were also totally on point. Highly recommend anyone come here for a delicious delight that won't break the bank!

Steak Frites have just made an appearance whilst the whole roast duck for 2 or 3 is seriously good and great value! The wine list whilst not extensive has something for everyone with a lot of thought and expertise obviously going into its development. Finish the evening at the bar with a chilled PX on a warm Brisbane evening and your night will be complete almost!
