I had just finished a noodle soup when I stumbled upon this Thai street food cafe. I decided to try the tom yum noodle soup with Thai ice cream, and it was absolutely fantastic! The portion size was generous and the flavors were delicious. Pom, the Thai lady who prepared the food, was very kind. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes soon! View all feedback.
What Desiree Wisozk doesn't like about Thai Aroi Café:
Ordered the Pad Thai Chicken with a drink which cost $17.50 for lunch, one of my favourite dishes here and in Thailand and expected a good meal at that price... Yet this time it was just wrong, the noodles in the Pad Thai Chicken I was served where pin sized, approx. 5cm long and where is a gluey mash that just tasted bad, I could only have 3 small bites and could not eat any more. I was offered another dish yet was... View all feedback.
I wish that restaurants would figure out that when you order an entree with your meal it shouldn't could put of the kitchen after you finish your main. Rant over. The main: ginger pork with veggies and rice was good. The ginger flavour did not overpower the fish. 3.5 The fish cakes entree made for strange dessert. Very rubbery and lacking taste. Sweet chilli made them palatable. 2.5 The credit card machine team out of paper during my transaction. No one knew how to see if the transaction was approved or how to reprint once the pair was changed. I'll likely not come back to this outlet.

Was craving for some noodle soup and randomly found this Thai Street food Cafe. Tried the Tom Yum noodle soup lunch special with Thai iced coffee, it was totally amazing!!! Excellent portion size and the flavours were delicious!! Pom the Thai lady who cooked the food was so sweet, definitely coming back and trying other dishes soon!!
Maybe owing to the Greek festival, restaurants in this area seemed quiet down. We were the only customers dining in from pm to pm. The Thai styled chicken wings, for an entree, tasted nice but a bit too dry. Lad na (rice noodle with pork and gravy) was very yummy and tasted just like when we ate one in Thailand. But we didn’t quite enjoy the stir fry chicken with cashew nut because of a strong smell of a chilli/shrimp paste. This place lacked a comfy feel; more like for takeaway or quick meals. Once we left the restaurant was packed up and closed.
Due to the Greek festival, the restaurants seemed unusually quiet. We were the only 2 customers dining from 7 pm to 8 pm. The Thai-style chicken wings were delicious but a bit dry. The lad na (rice noodles with pork and gravy) was very tasty and authentic. However, we did not enjoy the stir-fried dish with cashew nuts due to a strong smell of chili/shrimp paste. The atmosphere lacked comfort and felt more like a fast food establishment. When we left, the restaurant was full and closed for the night.
