We love this place and go there multiple times a week : both the sushi and items from the hot menu are fresh, delicious, prices are very reasonable and servings are generous. The staff are nice and they work really hard...we notice its the same chefs and waitresses working whenever we go day or night! Anyway, give it a try! Lots of sushi and menu items to choose from so there's bound to be something for everyone to e... View all feedback.
What Bridget Daniel doesn't like about Tenkai Sushi:
Located in the Gabba central complex. Heaps of parking and right next door to Gabba busway station. Decent sushi train. The seared salmon is superb. One of the best I've had. Most others are good/average. Sushi prices between $3 to $4.50. Some cheaper for takeaway rolls. They had lunch rice specials too but haven't tried. For those who may care/particular, not run by Japanese. View all feedback.
This restaurant was %100 better before changing ownership back in 2016. The Japanese quality service is gone completely. Staff are either busy on their mobile phones or just lazing around. Don't expect them to answer the phone any time soon, ask for chopsticks to take...away and expect a gormless look as if you've asked for something way beyond the means of normal.
I can't tell them how often I was sucked in to take a quick lunch here when I was in the facility and I always regret it. the sushi always tastes dry and as it sits there. I'm on it.
We had a mid week lunch. The sushi is fresh. They have limited selection on the train so it may take some time to order what you specifically want. The food is fresh and the service friendly.
I ordered this at uber eats, which is a mistake! simple instructions were not followed: please give me much soy sauce, washabi and ingwer. I received no ingwer, 3 packages from wasabi and 2 of these small fish soy sauce bottles, I ordered 3...long rolling and 6 of Dragon roll, so I needed about 10 tubes soy sauce and I mentioned no more! the presentation was as if it was thrown together, no love at all and the taste, well, so they get 1 star. it was less than usual to say the least. on all this negativeity, they would think that it is ordered as a takeaway meal, so they would expect some serviettes and hacking sticks. guess what, none. avoid eat from here to all cost
Great Japanese food. service is a bit curt, but it's good, its easy and there's a good variety in the offer! if you're there for lunch, there's a good chance that you can see some of the lions players from the whole road!
