Taro's ramen is authentic. That is really all that needs to be said. You could be in Tokyo from the taste but the decor there would be different) You go to Taro's for a quick bowl of authentic ramen View all feedback.

Spur of moment choice for a work day lunch with 5 workmates - being 1st timers, we all grabbed menus to see what was on offer & tried to understand the menu while lined up to order. The menu confused all 6 of us...when we got to the counter to order we asked questions, but the service person didn't understand us. After several attempts to query what things were and getting nowhere, we were then very conscious we were... View all feedback.
Best Ever Ramen I have in Brisbane! I order Tonkotsu ramen which cost $16.80. I like the soup base so much, it taste so rich and the pork slice is so yummy. I personally like Onsen Tomago (Ramen egg), I recommend to add extra egg, is really yum! How ever the portion is quite small compare to other Japanese ramen restaurant. Overall I will revisit again to try their other ramen!
Came here for dinner just a minute after they had opened for their dinner service. The seats filled up quickly and food came out very fast! <br/ <br/ I ordered the infamous tonkotsu ramen. The ramen broth had the right balance, flavourful and creamy accompanied with succulent meat and a perfect soft-boiled egg, this dish really took me back to Japan.

Ok im a huge Japan fan. So its nice to know that you can find Ramen that is close enough to feel like your sitting in a Ramen shop in Kyoto. The staff are always friendly and happy to help if you dont understand something .just remember one thing. They do make a cold ramen. This is not something that id suggest it really doesn't have the flavors that the hot Ramen does.Go reward your self and check it out.
First timer diner at Taro's new location at 480 queen St. Nice location and good service. Ramen broth, I felt was slightly lacking in flavour. Don't get me wrong it was delicious, just not as intense as some that I have had in other places. Would give it another go though. Would recommend ordering a side of something. We ordered gyoza. Next time I think I'd also order more char sui as it only came with one slice of meat
