this is my way to Sushi Square when I shop in chermside! the sushi is always well presented. it's always busy, so much sales. a lot of variety from salads to their sushi rolls. ok, its chain like many others, but have tried in indoorooopilly and this is better all round. We visited during Saturday lunch time and I was surprised at how little variety there was for flavour combinations. They have plenty of deluxe' flavours but the standard sushi rolls were very plain. I chose a selection, they got my order wrong (I didn't realise until after I'd left) and nothing stood out flavour-wise. Above average, mostly stock standard, reasonably priced sushi. Nothing is particularly standout. Service is brisk with plenty of staff behind the counter.
We had chicken sushi roll pack and it was so dry and tasted bad. Never bother again.
A nation wide chain, Sushi Sushi is one of the few food court stalls that in my opinion do better nigiri sushi than their sushi rolls. Their business at Westfield Chermside is always brisk, with a good crowd during meal times. You can choose to pick the sushi rolls and nigiri sushis you want, or opt to buy a pre-made box set of sushi. Their fresh salmon nigiri sushi is a delight to have, as the slices of fish are firm and sweet. We also chose some of their aburi sushi from the ala-carte range and were pleased to have tasty unagi and salmon sushi. This is my go to sushi place when doing shopping in Chermside! The sushi is always well presented. It's always busy, so great turnover. Lots of variety from salads to your sushi rolls. Ok, its a chain like many others, but have tried the one in Indoorooopilly and this one is better all round. I can always get a seat, eat my sushi and keep shopping! Quick, clean, no fuss and reliable. For a food court option, it ticks my boxes. The McDonalds of Sushi!!
