Sushi Deli - Brisbane

It's a relief that in terms of food court sushi these guys have nigiri, not just rolls.

If they don't have what you want just ask like I did... they made up a couple of sushi rolls for me. I dropped by for quick lunch and the only tuna they had was with avocado- I dislike avocado so they made me some with cucumber instead. Straight away. The seaweed was not tough or soggy but really fresh. Hot food and drinks available too. Sit in the food court or takeaway. Great service and good value.

This restaurant standard had been dropped so much in the last year or so. I still remember the Japanese sushi chef and very crowded visitor but we came for lunch and hardly people in the restaurant. The worst part was we found tick on the chili powder. I believe that they havent changed/cleaned the bottle for ages but they insisted they did and even said they use new batch and show me the package, well the colour were different to begin with. They just apologies and leave us with new chili powder.The table and sofa were sticky and dirty, very unpleasant to dine here any longer. we ordered sushi platter, tempura udon, softshell crab salad and peking duck salad, 8 plates of sushi from the train. Worst tempura udon, i've ever tasted - not up to standard at all, very pricy and only 1 little tempura prawn the rest tasted alright.since we have 8 people it was normal to have plates as we sharing the meal but it took ages for waiter to give us a YES so we can have the plates.

Tasty sushi rolls, with wide variety of fillings at reasonable prices. Recommended for a quick lunch.
