I was sceptical but Turkish friends had recommended it, so we gave it a go. Friendly service with one of the chefs taking our order so we could ask about the menu before ordering. We had hummus and vegetarian pride for entre. Both were good. For the main we had the mixed grill and a lamb dish with cubes of bread that soaked up the tomato sauce. It had a drizzle of yoghurt and reminded us of similar dishes we'd had in rural areas near the Armenian border. We asked for and got apple tea which I didn't see on the menu. All in all a pleasant surprise.

The service was friendly, the food was excellent, and the bill came to only $60 for two people. The prawn skewers and lamb cutlets were particularly amazing. I highly recommend this place. The owners also mentioned their catering services, so my co-workers and I are now planning to host our Melbourne Cup function at the office with their help. Overall, this restaurant was a lucky find.

The restaurant is charming and the free parking is a great bonus.
