I absolutely love this place! The Chinese food is fantastic and the Italian menu is also amazing. My husband and I have been here a few times now and we are both in love with it. What makes us so happy is that we usually have different preferences when it comes to food - I love Asian cuisine and he prefers pizza. Thankfully, this restaurant offers both options so we are both satisfied. And I have to add, they have th... View all feedback.
What Felicia Borer doesn't like about Sichuan Bang Bang:
EPIC takeaway fail. Rude on the phone. Small serves. Late. Cold. Expensive - very little Bang Bang for your buck! The eggplant was oily. Which is weird cos the crispy beef was dry. Almost like beef jerky. Kung pao chicken was sweet as. Mostly inedible all round.
The final insult was that we were both very crook afterwards.
I see there's been another review along these lines. Maybe don't offer takeaway if you can't... View all feedback.
This restaurant is excellent. it has a good menu with a lot of flavor. many parking and byo. the customer service is great.
If you like your food a little spicy with chilli and strong flavours-this is worth a try! Had a pre-match dinner here recently, and was really impressed with the food and service. Having eaten a while ago at the Kenmore location, I was keen to...see if the Given Terrace restaurant was of the same standard. The pan fried crispy beef was really good, with a light crisp outer texture and crunchy peanuts and chilli . The beans with minced pork and chilli oil is one of my favourites and the fresh crunchiness of the beans was well balanced by the pork and chilli .The wok fried eggplant was silky smooth and delicious. The kung pao chicken was a little too bland for my taste (more a Cantonese style) but others loved it. Washed down with a few cold Tsing Tao beers-it was a really filling and satisfying feed. The service was excellent, but I have to say the tables are way too small for a group of 4 being served 5 dishes at once. It would have been better to serve a few dishes at a time rather than all together making the table way too crowded.
Been here before and will be here again. Vegetarian options are excellent. Service excellent. Very polite and inviting.
Initially I was confused as google maps told me I had reached my destination, but I was at Violetta's. Of course if I had read the rest of the sign, I would have realised that it was the same place. Once in there, the food...and service were great. We had a long dinner, but people came and went around us, and there was no pressure for us to move on. Apparently the gin menu is wonderful, but I didn't sample it. The food however, is great.
This place Pizzeria Violetta) used to be our favourite but our last few visits have been disappointing. This latest visit is certainly our last. They no longer serve the soup dumplings at all times my favourites on previous visits) just on select days. So,...I ordered other items was very disappointed. Not sure what has happened but this place now serves very ordinary food even the pizza from the other side is no longer good).
