Shehnai Indian Restaurant - Brisbane

Making fool of people in Brisbane !! Don't know what Real Indian food is and no manners to talk at all. Illiterate staff and seems like not educated at all from any point. Learn to deal with complain and then call yourself a manager. LEARN FIRST PLEASE !! firstly we got the wrong order and instead of apologising to us .. all we got was arguing staff !! Really pathetic .. Wrong Order!! Biggest mistake of our life.

Been in Brisbane for a while. Tried all from Haleems, to Spice avenue Balti and even cheaper stuff like Miss India. Shehnai is by far the worst I have ever eaten. Ordered via delivery and got Biryani, butter chicken and Chicken Korma Biryani was colored rice with pieces of steamed chicken. Not even tandoor but steamed Now next joke on the menu was Butter chicken. Tasted like tomato soup and I called the restaurant he tried telling me the dish used tomato puree hence it tastes like tomatoes Chicken Korma was lost and bland and had no taste Normally i would not bag a restaurant so much but this time I downloaded the app just to make people aware to avoid such food as it is not even a tiny representation of food from India or subcontinent $20 for each curry, $22 for biryani and $5 for a naan I am still kicking myself for ordering from here Definitely Brisbane's worst by a long long way

The restaurant shuts around 10:30 and we probably got the last delivery. The Chicken tikka masala curry and Cheese and garlic Naan were really good but the Biryani seemed like Veg pulao and I really wouldn't recommend that. Overall, not too bad for takeaway!

We love Shenai! The food is always so tasty and fresh! They take such good care with the orders. When I order mild it is always lovely and mild and my husband orders hot he loves how hot it is! Delivery service is always quick and easy. We have stopped going to other local Indian restaurants as this one is the best!

First and last time we order from this place. We spent almost $70 on dinner and they got our order wrong (not sure how? It's on the order confirmation?) and when we called them 5 mins after delivery to ask them to bring us our correct order they said they would be back in half an hour. So we waited.... Still waiting apparently. WORST SERVICE EVER!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE PAYING FOR FOOD THAT NEVER COMES!!
