What Lyn C dislikes about Roti Place:
Came up in cheap eats review on Tripadvisor, looked reasonable thought we would give it a go whilst on holiday. Good location , near most city Hotels, no outdoor seating, lighting was like a fast food joint, overly bright. $4 pp for corkage, which i believe to be average. Food was generous in portions, tasty and good quality and relative quick service. Personally i think the lack of atmosphere let this little gem dow... View all feedback.
I really like this placeThe service is fast and efficient.
This is a really good value option for Malaysian food in the CBD.
Quite possibly the best roti canai I've had in Australia. The chicken curry dry noodles were OK - the bok choy was mushy and the chicken was chewy - but the service was also a let down. At no time was I asked if I'd like a drink, nor told that water was actually available to help yourself (it wasn't in view of my table). I'd come back for the roti, though.
Favorite Malaysian in Brisbane
This outlet provided faster and more efficient service than the one in Westend. Couldn’t say food was nicer as we ordered different dishes, but we were happy with our meals: spicy salt pepper calamari, pork, fish curry, chilli crab, and deep fried mantau. The iced brew teas were refreshing and not too sweet. Staff was very attentive and helpful.
