What Alana Huel doesn't like about Roti Chenai:
I went to this restaurant hoping for a delicious dosa, but unfortunately the dosas were very thick and turned rubbery when they cooled down. Additionally, the sambar was served in the form of dal fry, which was a huge letdown. When I tried to discuss this with the staff, they continued to justify their choices. This experience left me extremely disappointed. View all feedback. What Tito Johns likes about Roti Chenai:
Great food, a little different to standard Indian fare. As they promote, their speciality is South Indian / Malaysian - the roti, biryani and thali are all delicious and well portioned. Can easily feed 2 people for less than $25 with a takeaway main + roti. View all feedback.

This is an Indian/Malaysian place, somewhat hidden from the street, but quiet, and small inside.

read moreRoti Chenai is a small restaurant that offers a nice selection of Indian dishes, with dosas being a standout favorite. The dosas are thin, crisp, and delicious, although some may find the fillings lacking variety. The menu is not extensive, but the portions are generous and the food is well-prepared. The rotis and dosas are consistently well-made and the curries are flavorful and well-balanced. While the dining experience may not be upscale, the focus is on delivering tasty Malaysian and South Indian dishes at great value. The restaurant has garnered a loyal following, with many customers returning regularly for favorites like the butter chicken and roti. Whether dining in or taking away, Roti Chenai delivers quick service and enjoyable meals that keep customers coming back for more.
