I absolutely love this restaurant! It serves Thai cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes are all expertly prepared and burst with flavor. My favorite dish is the coconut braised ribs - sticky, sweet, and tender, served with a fresh salad, rice, or roti. The red duck curry is also delicious, as well as the black beef penang. The share plates offer great value. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, with a cozy sett... View all feedback.
What Miracle Bailey doesn't like about Rogue Spice Canteen:
I used to love coming to rogue spice, but since becoming a pescatarian they have been very unaccommodating. They do offer one vegan dish, however it is so incredibly spicy I cannot eat it (and I can usually handle some sort of spice They say that the spice cannot be altered, so unfortunately I'm stuck with roti and plain rice when my friends and I dine there. I just wish they would offer a seafood dish perhaps, or co... View all feedback.
This review is solely based on the lunch menu satay, and oh my goodness, it was absolutely amazing! I was blown away when the waitress brought out a beautiful dish that I couldn't believe was for me. If the dish looked half as good as it tasted, I would have been satisfied, but it exceeded my expectations. I can guarantee that the dishes at this restaurant are top-notch.
Delicious eating, a semi-familiar event place (was a regular in the glass bar and the quality of eating w’s the prizes is amazing we had the hot pork bauch penang curry, the dish was perfect, pork was melted in her mouth amazing. the level of the spicy was perfect for me. but if they are a bit harmful for hot eating, they may ask for him a little less sharp! we are coming back
I have been here for dinner before but their lunch menu is great! Personally I wish you could still order the lunch menu for dinner I'd be there all the time!
Every dish I have tried is better than the last but honestly you could just go to this restaurant for the roti bread. It is hands down the best roti in Brisbane due to the very light char and once you try it you will never want a naan bread again. Roti!!!!
I came to this restaurant for lunch based on the recommendation of a couple of friends who specifically suggested trying the chicken satay. It did not disappoint - the dish was both delicious and beautifully presented. My lunch companion and I ordered the satay with a side of roti, as suggested. The chicken was pre-cooked, but still juicy and flavorful. The sauce was thicker than usual, but I enjoyed its unique consistency. The sauce had a hint of sweetness, complemented by another sauce embedded in the chicken. A small side salad of cucumbers provided a refreshing contrast to the rich sauce. I found myself craving more of the spicy chili garnish that came with the dish. Overall, a satisfying meal that I would recommend to others.
