We have eaten dosa and roti canai twice now and it is very good. It is available at lunchtime on weekends only (given the amount of preparation required apparently). The restaurant is very basic and frankly not a great place to sit but the meals are very good.Specialising in Malaysian and Indian cuisines we've also had a couple of takeaways (home-delivered) and they are great too. What Israel Grimes doesn't like about Riverwalk Tandoori:
We purchased takeaway for four on a friends recommendation. Our friends eat here regularly and enjoy. We had lamb, chicken and beef dishes. Quite pricey and not a lot of substance. A lot of liquid with very little meat - we were very disappointed. This was a Thursday night. View all feedback.
Best indian food we had in a long time. we had dal makhani, kadhai paneer. Both were amazing. We had ordered this through Uber eats and it was best experience through uber eats so far.
If you're looking for a nice restaurant with a fancy interior then I wouldn't recommend this place, but if you're looking for the best Indian food in Brisbane then I certainly would! It’s old, a little dingy inside but the food is amazing and the staff are all so lovely. A friend took me years ago right before moving overseas and since returning a few months ago, I have been about half a dozen times, if not more. Everything I have eaten here has been remarkable. The curries are so flavoursome and the naans are super soft and fresh, you can certainly tell they are made fresh in store. I love the fact that the curries have whole cloves, cardamom pods and pieces of cinnamon bark in them rather than just a generic, pre-made flavour base; you can really tell they take the time to ensure authentic flavours are in each dish. I would highly recommend the chicken korma, Penang curry and the daging masak merah.
I had been there on the occassion of my wedding anniversary and they made it special with some amazing seafood cuisine. We had bollywood prawns n bengal curry and it was a mesmerizing experience. Just too good food...its too contraditory to its looks
Went there with my partner for dosa for lunch on Sun. It was surprisingly good!! It really nailed the taste of Southern India. Will def go back for dosa on weekends again.
I tried them as a backup option when other plans fell through.
