Whenever we are in the city, we visit New Shanghai to snack on dumplings. Despite all the visits over the years, we have hardly ventured away from dumplings as they have always been exceptional. The decor here is beautiful and the service is efficient. I would recommend trying the Xioalongbao, the pan-fried pork buns and any of the dumplings. I particularly like the shepherd's purse dumplings served with the peanut and chilli sauce. The dessert section has some interesting dishes that are definitely worth exploring as well.

Every time I dine here, the experience is amazing. Some people may complain about the wait, but when they look up from their phones and see that the restaurant is not crowded, what do they expect? It doesn't hurt to have a conversation while waiting. With this knowledge, they can line up before they get too hungry and secure a table to enjoy a variety of delicious foods. Surprisingly, for an Asian restaurant, the food is not heavy and doesn't leave you feeling overly full. It's a relief to eat here without wanting to die afterwards. The restaurant is spacious, accommodating many guests with comfortable seating and plenty of table space. Around 6 pm, lines begin to form out front, so be mindful of that. As for recommendations, everything is good, but the duck with steamed rolls is particularly delicious.

The restaurant serves mainly pork dishes, which I enjoyed. The atmosphere is lively and I opted for the spicy option, which was tasty. However, I was not a fan of the seaweed side dish. Overall, I had a good experience and will return in the future.

This restaurant serves delicious noodles. They are the best I've ever had. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the noodles are at this place.
