I ate here with a friend the week before Christmas. The menu on the day was different to what we had seen on the web site prior, and it was explained that the restaurant had taken diners' feedback on board to come up with a lighter cheaper Summer menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch (whiting, special cube fries). The wait staff were lovely and helpful as I questioned my way through the options. Would happily return! View all feedback.
What Carlo Valentini doesn't like about Mondo Organics:
I was looking forward to my breakfast at Mondo, after a friend highly recommended it. We were a table of six. The menu is great, with plenty of GF and vege/vegan options. Food was very good, with generous portions and came out in good time. Juices were interesting, I would recommend the Self Worth. Coffee was OK (not hot enough). The service was impersonal: take the order, deliver the food. Disappointing. It was cold... View all feedback.
Relaxed surroundings with an enticing menu, could be considered a little on the pricey side but I felt the quality of the produce used here stood up to this. Good coffee and lovely staff.

Coffee was OK (not hot enough). The service was impersonal: take the order, deliver the food. Disappointing. It was cold sitting out on the deck - a throw for the knees or a bit of heating to take the chill off would make for a nicer experience.Unfortunately, there was nothing mind blowing that would bring me back. Would definitely be interested in using their catering services in the future.
A large Group of us dined in at this restaurant last night We were told that we had to have a set menu before we arrived and we prepared ourselves for a what should have been a night to remember.Well it was a night to remember but for all the wrong reasons. The staff didn't explain the food nor did they explain the wine accompanying the food. There where several meals that went back to the kitchen that was undercooked and over cooked. The dessert was inedible it was a stale piece of French toast with Chantilly cream.I will never ever go back and I will tell everyone I know how poor the service and food was
We were a group of 5 people, 1 vegan, 2 lactose and gluten intolerant and 2 with no dietary requirements. The menu catered nicely for all. Even the dishes that were not designated on the menu as GF or DF were happily converted to our dietary requirement when requested. The owners were passionate about organic food, so much so that we decided to go there the following morning for breakfast. The breakfast menu contained unusual but interesting dishes as well as the usual breakfast staples.whether you are after special dietary requirements or not, Mondo Organics is a worthwhile place for a visit.
I came here on a business trip after doing some research on healthy restaurants in Brisbane. I had the celeriac fondant, king fish and sauteed greens. The fondant was amazing, the greens were good, but I thought the king fish was a little dry. The wine list was great- I really appreciated that they labelled each wine as organic, preservative-free, etc. It's also just good to see a restaurant prioritizing local, sustainable food!
