I lived in India for 9 years from the mid 70s to the mid 80s and I've eaten traditional Indian food in most states of India. The South Indian food served in Mirch Masala is exactly like you would get in India it is without...a doubt some of the best Indian food I've eaten in Australia in the last 30 years. What Martin Mertz doesn't like about Mirchh Masala Chaat Court:
The restaurant serves everything in non recyclable plastic. Quite a few of their dishes are pre-made. A lot of dishes have black salt which I am not a fan of. Even their tea is already sugared. Individual dishes appear to be cheap but by the...time you add up for a complete meal it is no cheaper than a proper restaurant. View all feedback.
The food was great, in fact better than I expected from the reviews. I would love to be able to take a bottle of wine along. Will return!
I have now been here three times that means I've been here every time I have come to Brisbane because the food is amazing! It's pure vegetarian, tasty, fresh, has many options and is a tidy restaurant. I've tried different menu items each time...and I'm yet to have a dish that is short of wonderful.
We've received recommendations from several taxi drivers and finally found ourselves driving past on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We ordered a thali and a Mysore masala dosa. The staff were really friendly and helped us with the curry selections for the Thali. Our request for...extra spicy food was accommodated and the food was super tasty and filling! No wonder it's so popular!!
I love the food so much as I'm Indian and I am also vegetarian there are so many options to choose from. This has to be by far one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Australia. By far my favourite meal is definitely chole bhature....The service is also amazing and the people are so kind and helpful. Keep on making the delicious food and I will come again to eat!!
