What Aimee Rohan dislikes about Hello Please:
Awesome food and atmosphere. We came with a big group of 9 and the staff were very difficult and unaccommodating. We found them to be quite rude and probably wouldn't go back again even though the food was delicious View all feedback.

My partner, friend, and I went to this restaurant for a weekend lunch. We ordered the tuna tartare, shiitake mushrooms, and Dan Dan rice cakes with a side of steamed rice. The tuna was fresh, the mushrooms were addictive, and the rice cakes were the standout dish with a perfect level of spiciness and a unique texture. The dishes are meant to be shared and have more of an Asian fusion flavor than strictly Vietnamese. The atmosphere is casual with limited outdoor seating, and the service is friendly and efficient. The prices may be a bit high for the portion sizes, but overall, it's a great spot to enjoy a light Asian fusion meal with friends.
Hello Place is a nice little venue in fish lane. Saw photos of the food on Instagram and decided I had to assess this goodness<br/ <br/ We got the Pork Bao buns, chicken salad and crispy chicken ribs. Food was amazing with all the flavour hitting your mouth at first bite.<br/ <br/ I recommend everyone give this place a go.
Five of us dined here for dinner on a Saturday night. It is a really cool set up with the train going past and wooden bench tables to sit on. We did not enjoy the 90s pop playlist though. Since it was a group booking, we needed to have the banquet menu. The curry came out first which was done in error so we were compensated with some chicken bao which was yummy. I really enjoyed the food here. In particular, the Vietnamese salad and the beans that were served with the pork belly.
Our first meeting will be on October 29th from 8PM-10PM at 'Hello Please'. I hope to see all of you there. Goodbye for now.
I have dined here twice now and after reading a few reviews on here, I would highly recommend ordering the banquet. Each time we have ordered the shared dining the portions have been very generous. For those interested in a lighter meal, the two standout dishes for me were the plum duck salad crispy chicken ribs. Awesome atmosphere,, tasty food and great music all tucked away on fish lane. Check it out for after work dinners and drinks with friends or date night!

Terrible eating, bad service and the music was so loud, why is the lane? that's terrible for such a beautiful location.
The flavours were nice and staff attentive but after the baller banquet at $55pp, we left the place still hungry. The banquet included 3 bite size plates and one main of fish to be shared between two adults. I honestly thought it was a mistake...when only one main came! I’m not a big eater but this was far from enough. Another main was needed to feed two adults! Left very disappointed purely for such small servings. Come on guys, rice is cheap, give us at least a decent serving of rice!
Don’t bother. Average food and incredibly rude owner. Yes book g was for 1.5 hours. At 1 minute to expiry of 1.5 hours to be told “get out” is offensive in the extreme. Appalling arrogance and total lack of understanding of customer service. Plenty of...other far more pleasant alternatives.
This is our first time here. What an amazing experience. The service was fabulous and the food was excellent. Full of flavours. The prawn toast you have to experience. I am not normally a seafood fan but this I would recommend. Will definitely be back.
Generally poor. the menu differs from what we have done in booking. generally blanden and not very generous in size. service easy to be normal, polite. this place is downhill. it is a real scandal, as this was our attempt to maintain and support the hospitality...industry in these difficult times.
