Friendly, accommodating and quick. Three words you would travel for when it comes to coffee shops. Consistently making great coffee and food options are extensive for breakfast and lunch. Heaps of seating options for small or larger groups which is rare for CBD location. Catering options also flexible and very reasonably priced. The ladies are always up for a cheeky little laugh. Just make sure you bring you comedic... View all feedback.

What Timmothy Klein dislikes about Hard Coffee:
Hard coffee is a great use of an old colonial building ie the post office and the coffee has always always been good.  Now Turmeric Chai latte on macadamia milk is made here.  It is hard to describe this drink in words.  Inside/outside/street level or now in BOQ at next door this place works and the baristas love their work which is half the battle. This cafe has a really nice atmosphere. It's located right at the Australia Post office building at 259 Queen Street, the street frontage is nice and there's plenty of seating. The service is friendly but not quick. You will get a good coffee here, so I will be back for that. I also got a Turkey and Salad sandwich, which was okay but not outstanding.

Noticed this coffee bar as I was strolling through Queen St near the Post Office so just had to call in & sample the beans! Was not disappointed- coffee was strong & smooth with good flavor, as is usually the case with Di Bella brew.

Undoubtedly the best coffee shop in Brisbane. In an industry which is quickly becoming overly saturated, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find a shining beacon in the contrast-less wider picture.  A secluded corner of a heritage listed building lays the perfect canvas for finding just this. Mix in constantly fantastic coffee , delicious food and impeccable customer service and you’ll find that Hard Coffee is undeniably the perfect cafe to light up your day.

We've been getting our coffee here for over a year and loving it.Had several breakfasts and lunches more recently and they've been excellent as well.Of late we've noticed several changes with the lightened up decor and particularly the great new foyer seating area in the now adjoining Queen street very calm and a very nice addition to the other areas.Musn't forget the super friendly service which puts the whole cafe at stars.
