Harajuku Gyoza in Brisbane is such a great concept restaurant! The gyozas were delicious and the atmosphere very lively and fun.It felt very authentic - the staff are all Japanese and the food is cooked in front of customers giving a street food experience. The decor of the restaurant is funky but stylish. The staff extremely efficient and they entertain the diners by shouting Japanese exclamations around the restauran... View all feedback.
What Artiks Siliņš doesn't like about Harajuku Gyoza:
I liked the server, she was adorable and full of fun energy. Food was decent but I found this restaurant when I was in the US and I set my hope really high & maybe that was the issue. I enjoyed my visit but wasn't blown away. I would go back but wouldn't give it a 5. View all feedback.
The best Dumplings I will probably ever have. The service is quite spectacular and the decor is very unique. If you are a drinker there are many interesting options and I am sure that you will not be let down.
Great service. Asked for a cocktail, they didn't have it, asked for another, they said no cocktails, asked for 1 of 3 listed draft Japanese beers... they didn't have it! Great gyozas. Heard good things about chicken karage but found it oily. Honey chicken was ok. Good atmosphere. Would definitely come back for the gyozas but wouldn't rush back for anything else.
The first thing I have to mention is that the interior is amazing!! We were greeted with such enthusiasm, I felt like I walked straight into Japan (I wish). It was such a cold day and all I needed was a nice, warm bowl of rice. I ordered the grilled vegetable gyozas and a side of rice to take away. The food was ready in around 10 minutes. The gyozas were AMAZING. I have only had steamed dumplings/gyozas so they were something different. The texture was great and the flavours were delicious. The rice was just as warming as I'd hoped. Overall, the food is great and the service is equally as great!! They have a range of vegan/vegetarian options so I am super keen to return and try them all!!
Gyoza and tempura eggplant were delicious! Sake is yummy and the sake celebration is really entertaining. They dealt with service hiccups really professionally - they apologised many times when a computer error delayed our gyoza and even gave us a round of drinks for free.
Ordered takeaway. Chicken gyoza bento box and fries. The rice was super cute - in the shape of a panda. Gyoza was good - came with chicken karaage, a very small salad, rice, and edamame.
