Fix Restaurant & Wine Bar @ Port Office Hotel

A friend had been here and raved about it so we thought we would give it try after a bit of a pub crawl around the city.This place is all about the food and the food was sensational! One of our group had the pate for an entree and commented it was the best entree he had ever eaten. A big call big I must say we all had a try if it and wowser! The rest of the meals were just fantastic and we will certainly be back. Great service, wine list and food!

The restaurant was full when we arrived about 8 o'clock so we decided to have a feed in the front bar. Good quality steak salad & chips well priced

The service, food, and ambiance were all excellent for our final meal with our tour group. Good choices for the set menu and everyone was very happy with their meals. Our curtained off area was private yet not too claustrophobic.

The ambience was great, the service, prompt and attentive, and the food was divine - for me and for my client - beautiful, fresh salad, crisp, hot French fries, delicious market fish, and perfectly cooked steak. We'll be back for sure.

We had dinner here recently on a Friday evening. The place is a it noisy and also a bit cafeteria like in decor and feel, but everything else makes up for it. It has an excellent menu, both for food and wine, and everything we had was very good. The service was attentive without being over the top and everyone was pretty friendly in this place. The stuffed olives are amazing, the oysters fresh and tasty. The Rotisserie chicken has plentiful and cooked to perfection.
