This is just the place for brunch! Sweet and savoury options with fresh local ingredients. Good concept and interesting decor in what is essentially an industrial unit just off Gympie Road but has created the feel of somewhere more rustic and earthy. It was very busy and service a little slow on Sunday morning but the food and coffee were very good and well presented. What Jannie Maggio doesn't like about Farm House:
Disappointed with my breakfast this morning after telling all my friends how fabulous the place is.If you have avocado that is supposed to be on your toast with a poached egg, you don't expect it to come out with the avocado in half still in the skin to spread yourself??? You must move your egg spread your avocado which is done with a small spoon???By this time your egg is cold and the rest of your friends have eaten... View all feedback.
Had a great brunch here today. You unfortunately cannot book tables on weekends which is a shame, so we had a 15 minute wait. There is plenty of shade and groovy milk crates with fake grass cushioning though. Once seated we were taken through the import stuff by our waiter - location of the loos, where to get water and glasses, ordering at the counter. The menu is good and not too large. Our small group ordered the breakfast gnocchi and the ricotta pancake plus vatious coffees and fresh juices. The food is really great, big serves, fresh and locally sourced ingredients. It looks good and tastes even better. The breakfast gnocchi had a flavoursome tomato sauce with a touch of chilli and proper bacon. The gnocchi was excellent. The ricotta pancake looked pretty and tasted amazing! Homemade lemon curd and vanilla icecream really added something special to this big, light pancake. Coffees were good and the fresh juice was large and freshly made. Will definitely return.
Very nice and relax place for breakfast and brunch. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful and fresh and beautifully presented. I loved the crispy cheese and potato cake. I would have loved to take the herbs wagon home with me ????
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the ricotta hotcake, which was delicious, but my partner and I both thought the breakfast gnocchi was quite bland. Otherwise, a really nice place for brunch.
Party of four for brunch . eating was pretty good. we were told that we did not order via the QR code on table
Hello. we had our first visit this morning. very tidy with sitting when they arrive. small waiting time. no biggie. there was a little confusion with the time frames. the order app says 11:45 clock for ordering lunch, the online menu says 11:30 clock and. during the visit, 12 clock was advised by the personal. we were happy to wait 20 or so minutes, but until the lunch break started. hubby ordered the corn beef toastia and I ordered the burger. as the menu says to ask about the burger. I have just assumed if they ask to order it, the cash would advise what it is / what it brings. it was not my pleasure, but I consumed it (deserve it the advantage of the doubt) spicy sauce
