Contribute Feedback What Kaylee Legros likes about Dumpling Republic:
Excellent food and good service. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, and the tables are really small, which is awkward when you're ordering several different dishes to share and find room on the table for. Drinks are expensive! $15 for a mojito. View all feedback.
What Annalise Metz doesn't like about Dumpling Republic:
Dumplings here are good but the small range of mains are tasteless. Don't come here if you are a vegetarian as the only option was a vegetable fried rice (that looked like the vegetables were frozen mixed veg) or a noodle dish. At $170 for 4 people I wouldn't go back. View all feedback.
Recently moved to Brisy from Perth for work in the city. Had lunch here and I think its going to be a regular feature for me. The beef dumplings were cooked perfectly and the flavours were soooooo amazing! Loved the Chicken Wonton noodle soup. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu! Service was fast and efficient!
Really average! Dumplings aernt great. Fried rice is also average.. tasted better with a whole lot of soy sauce added. In a rush to take my order and take the menu.. I often will look at the menu again and order more if I'm happy. There are so many good Asian places, especially for dumplings and this isn't one .. such a nice restaurant and location so it is a real shame.
Had lunch here as we were craving some tasty little dumplings ! Had a range of things to share including the spring rolls which were big but didn't have much of a filling, the fried chicken wings which were crispy and yum! Had the chicken and leek dumplings which we were expecting to be quite big but came put small and to be honest lacking a bit of flavour. The pork belly Bao was big but again lacked in flavour and tasted pretty plain. Expect to pay a bit if you come to eat here, we were surprised at how pricey it was for only two people for lunch. Overall it was ok and a bit pricey
Brisbane has a few key places to go for dumplings. Dumpling Republic had not been on my list for some reason but should have. The place is not just dumplings but as per its name the dumplings are the stand out dishes
Lovely little dumplings. Fresh & tasty. The steamed pork buns & the fried pork gyoza were my favourites. Service was a wee bit slow but it's a good space & I'd go again. Especially for the $1 dumplings on Tuesdays. However it's not particularly authentic & the variety is limited.
