Loved my acai bowl from Charlie's. I've had the superfood bowl topped with coyo which was delicious. And I've also had the peanut butter bowl which was nice but didn't come with as many delicious toppings. My friend had the nottella bowl and it was very nice too. View all feedback.
What Chloe Jacobs doesn't like about Charlie's Raw Squeeze:
very disappointed by rohem Squeece-Tonfeld. service was very bad, eating was bad and selection was limited. everton park is much better in all areas. considering that they use vitamix, there is no excuse for the beautiful cream to have such huge pieces of unblended frozen banane. there were also no oreos decorating the top like the picture and when I mentioned it, the girl said that there were some mixed. not good en... Two bowls had only one taste of the actual acai available. fruit was minimal and beautiful cream was too sweet with not enough variation in taste. too big.
The acai bowls had the texture of hard sorbet. Perhaps they made them earlier and had them sitting in the freezer? Definitely made it less enjoyable to eat. The flavour of the mixture was good. The fruit they put on top was interesting- a whole segment of pomegranate is a novel and attractive but not very practical or tasty addition to the bowl. They are vegan only- Can't get normal milk for your coffee.
Very disappointed by the sad looking acai dish that I received from here one night, the half of the amount that she would receive in the rule and was runny and melted. definitiw didn't look like the usual ones I used in the Ashgrove site. the contributor factor would be just a girl who works by herself and makes submissions for 4 other customers and looks highly stressed.
The juices are great, but only if they actually have to handle. several times I was at this place, and they always have from what I want. the prefabricated salads/ wraps are good, not as fresh as I thought they were, but not bad. overall the prices are for what they get, but I think on par with this trendy art of discount. the personal is terrible. very rude, angry looking and when I had to change my juice order (for they had no ingredients), they treated me as if I was inconvenient. I'm not vegan, so I have no need to come here. but I would visit more often if they fixed their problems.
