Took my mother and family here for mothers day!
We made a booking, and got a nice table in their cosy outdoor setting!
It was a nice surprise when they told us that for mothers day, we get a free curry for mum, so we took full advantage of that!
My Sister is a vegetarian so she was accommodated, but the rest of us are meat eaters, so devoured our chicken curries, penang was awesome!
It's BYO so we popped over... View all feedback.
What Madge Gottlieb doesn't like about Café de Siam:
We have tried Tom Kha and Their special spicy Eggplant; Tom Kha was too sweet, no spices in it; but i understand that it might be their style and not in my taste. However; the Spicy Eggplant was too salty, and i am sure that the Chef forgot and put salt at least three times, you can't taste anything but salt. At the end i told this when i wanted to pay for my food and they did not do anything and their excuse was the... View all feedback.

We have made cafe de siam to our small local fave, always great tasting and fresh eating. last night we had a black larvae and a tom som salad for something else and light from ordinary, both large portions and all fresh, fragrant. prawn dumplings for entree are a must try. always great eating.
Oh my, when I first reached this place. it felt a little underwhelming. the only thing that inspired me was the wonderful aroma that flirts over the restaurant from the kitchen. then it came to eat. I was immediately surprised to see such a large part, because only I ordered the pad thai, and it was absolutely delightful! even bean-prouted, meat-prouted, it was cooked in a round to perfection. my companion loves authentic Thai cuisine and he tells me that even the Thai militia uses a special brand of tea leaves. when he discovered the brand in the restaurant, he was thrilled! at the end of the meal we were treated by the workers to a small cup free dessert. everything in all...more
Service was great. my roasted crispy duck and mixed seafood som tum were beautiful and tasteful, although they were not deep. the ingwers sauce of the duck would go better with more ingwer and pfeffer and less sugar. the salat dressing would be much better with a toning of fermented crabs and/or fish (pu dong and/or pla raa).
Absolutely magnificent ! Words can't even begin to describe it's my favourite restaurant and I could eat there all day everyday! By far the best meal is the Chefs Special Siam Sunset Soft Shell Crab and the Crispy Silky Tofu Salad, but literally anything on the menu is guaranteed deliciousness
