My friend and I were walking to maths when he told me 'I have a craving for gelato, ' and I asked 'feeling irresponsible ' and he replied 'nah, better not. '<br/ <br/ 5 minutes later in Maths we were looking up ice cream shops in St Lucia and came across this gem, finding that there was a bus every 5 10 minutes, and we were there in no time.<br/ <br/ From our arrival the staff were friendly and helpful in our quest for quality iced confection, offering us tastes of their wide array of flavours. My friend got 3 scoops for 7 dollars, which is about average for gelato, and this was above average product (which I will elaborate on later). I got a thickshake for the same price (Milkshakes were 6 which is a little expensive for a milkshake, but 7 is reasonable for a thickshake and they were high quality) We weren 't there for food but we gave the menu a funk soul brother and nothing really lit our fires, but we wanted ice cream and we 're not really after a food place. The cakes and desserts in the fridge looked good, though. We aren 't coffee people so we couldn 't really judge, will update when we bring a coffee drinking friend.<br/ <br/ My friend 's flavours were Dark Chocolate, which was great properly dark , Lemon (a surprisingly good combination) and Kinder Surprise, for something different, and it was a beautiful caramelly chocolate. My thickshake was made with my choice of gelato flavours snickers and dark chocolate which gave a great choc peanut butter flavour and was delicious. I was hopeful at first of being served the shake in the big metal mixing cup, which is sadly falling out of favour despite its superior size and cooling properties, however the glass I was served it in was still sizeable. We sat and played cards while enjoying our purchases, overall very satisfied.<br/ <br/ It was delicious and we will be back, Briki quickly gaining favour as my Choice Uni Cafe.<br/ <br/ 4.5/5, would fail Math1050 again.

So glad I get to call this cafe my local. Great coffee and the smashed avo and feta on toast is to die for! <br/ <br/ The team are always friendly and happy to see you. Highly recommend a visit!

I am a coffee fanatic and must say Briki consistently produces one of the best cups in Brisbane. Love it!

Soo good! Not a huge range, but everything they do, they do very well. Bacon eggs and snickers thick shake are a must!
