We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning. The steak tartare was absolutely incredible! View all feedback.
What Richard Ford doesn't like about Aquitaine Brasserie:
Disappointed: We had hoped to be seated with a view of the waterfront, but instead, we were placed upstairs. The chairs were low, making us feel like we were kids at a large table. The food was decent, with a good variety and nice presentation, but overall, I was let down, especially since it was a first date. I truly believe that if we had a private table downstairs, the experience would have been much better. Thank... View all feedback.
Eating was slightly disappointing meat hard, pate sloppy, desserts only cut. also did not help that the front of the house manager was quite rude when we arrived. I wouldn't be back.
We were here on a visit to Brisbane. The champagne oysters are a must try! The duck confit had lovely flavours to it and made for an interesting meal. I will definitely try to squeeze in another visit here! Great service and a nice calm atmosphere away from the weekend madness.
Our main meals came out cool. The mushrooms were quite hot but it appeared that our meals had been sitting for too long before being served. This was disappointing.
The food was slightly disappointing meat tough, pate sloppy, desserts just average. Also didn’t help that the front of house manager was pretty rude when we arrived. I wouldn’t rush back.
Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing. The escargot was tough and rubbery, while the pork was so dry that my father couldn’t finish it. On a positive note, my bouillabaisse was delicious. However, the pâté was bland and definitely needed a lot more salt.
