Today, I had lunch with my work friends for a baby shower at this restaurant. I made the reservation and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to pay separately and the atmosphere was pleasant. View all feedback.

The open plan nature of the restaurant meant it was confusing to find and then identify who to speak to. There were only 4 other diners hence the lack of atmosphere, however the shared space with Friday’s bar who had a superb pianist/vocalist made it a quiet and pleasurable venue to dine alone (never the most social experience! with the great nighttime view of the beautiful Story Bridge. Service was attentive and quick, feedback was sought and received professionally and in a friendly way. The food was ok and as described.
Waterline is a stunning setting overlooking the river and has an indulgent vibe. The food is very good and the servings generous. There is opportunity to fully align service with setting never easy! but staff need to be a bit more attentive with pouring and clearing but please don 't tip into the intrusive multiple queries of 'is everything alright? ' Very nearly excellent and well worth a visit.
Great place, good choice of dishes and good price. Cocktails are a must
