Our first time to Sixteen Antlers after reading reviews, it was everything and more. Great drinks, had just had a late lunch so did not try the Tappas although they looked great. Loved the view with the heaters going and they even provided blanket, nice touch. It was so good we decided to call in the following night on our way home unfortunately we arrived around 11.00pm and they were calling last drinks. Would recom... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar:
Aussicht wirklich nett. Bar war gut besucht, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. DJ hat aufgelegt. Cocktail war OK, aber auch nicht mehr. Übersichtliche Cocktailkarte, allerdings viele Spirituosen im Angebot (Whiskey etc.) View all feedback.
This was a really nice bar, the DJ both nights played good music. Its right in the city so the main view is buildings, but most enjoyable night.
Nice place for an evening drink. Easy laid back vibe, the drink prices are not too over the top. Some live music on a Friday night. Gets busy with the city crowd. The service was indifferent and not that welcoming, but nice venue.
When we arrived on a Friday night, we expected it to be bustling, but it was only half full, mostly with young women and older men. I was pleased to find a booth easily and ordered the Apple Pie cocktail, which turned out to be just a martini glass filled with apple juice. I also ordered the charcuterie board and Parmesan truffle chips that had been highly praised in a review. The board was thrown together carelessly, with a few slices of Coles deli salami, flavorless terrine, and a couple of prosciutto slices hidden under stale breadsticks and crackers. There was only half a pickle on the board, split in half so my husband and I could each have a piece, along with a smear of fig paste that would have been better paired with cheese. The truffle chips were simply frozen fries doused in Aldi truffle oil and sprinkled with a small amount of Parmesan cheese. The only reason I didn't give this place just one star was because the DJ was playing some enjoyable music and the view was nice. Overall, it was not the rooftop experience I had hoped for.
Awesome views of the city at night. Loved the cocktails and great music. Excellent service from the staff. Had a great night.
There are not many good rooftop bars that I could find in Brisbane. This is one I visited previously on a visit to Brisbane. This one is on the floor of the Mercure Hotel King George Square. Views are towards Queen Street and Turbot...Street. Drink prices are reasonable and there are nice comfy sofas to sit on. Staff are a bit standoffish and could be more engaging with customers. If one is looking for an excellent rooftop bar the newly opened and excellent Iris Rooftop Bar at Hotel X has great city and story bridge views.
