We stopped in for breakfast. Not a lot open in this area on a cold winter morning at 6:30am - but Cafe Pronto was! Cosy inside, great coffee and - most of all - fabulous food at such reasonable prices. I had fritters which were delicious and my partner had eggs. Milk with essence of coffee. I hate it when people can't make good coffee. I want coffee not milk. Service wasn't that great too. They had alot of customers and so you can tell they rushed our coffees. Not hot and milky. View all feedback.

Also I asked for an extra hot coffee and they made it extra hot - not many baristas do that!
Nice coffee with a good selection of cakes and there appeared to be a sound menu for other times of the day Staff friendly and attentive Noise not a problem with good table layout
If you're looking for "your local", then Cafe Pronto is the way to go. I'm entering my 7th month of attending this cafe every morning. The staff are always extremely friendly, and the coffee is fantastic. This cafe is open for Breakfast and Lunch and always attracts a crowd.
Cafe Pronto is my eatery of choice when dining casually in Brisbane. located across from King George Square in Anne Street, it offers really good quality simple cafe style food cooked well, at a good price and with excellent service.The thing that stands out for this cafe to me is the quality of the staff. They make an effort to acknowledge and remeber their customers, they are always positive ( none of that complaining about each other indiscretely whilst they are working that you see at so many retail places these days). This reflects a great working culture and it shows in the huge business they seem to get every day.They also make great coffee and sell the beans as well ( definitely worth trying)
I've tried most of the cafés in the CBD, and these guys serve the highest quality coffee that I know of. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, know how to make coffee, and the food has always been great when I've tried it. Will keep coming back for more.
