Cafe 21 - BRISBANE CITY

My friends and I were in the city last weekend and we didn't get hungry until 11pm.

Cafe 21 provides a great alternative to the only other 24-hour restaurants in the city, Pancake Manor and Hungry Jacks.

This is one of the menu items from April 2008 (the menu changes periodically and I think there were 2-3 options at the time). It's a place where you can eat delicious food at an affordable price. I would recommend it to backpackers, students, and working holiday travelers.

This was a great cafe and we had dined there many times over the years. However the area in which the cafe was - in the casino, was revamped a LONG time ago and is now a very good asian fusion restaurant called "The Fat Noodle" - the brainchild of celebrity chef Luke Nguyen: its excellent. The pastries, cakes, burgers etc which were once served in Cafe 21, are now served in "The Kitchen" which can be accessed directly from the entrance on the right hand side of the main casino entrance.

Good variety of food from Cakes sandwiches and Steaks where you can have a coffee or beer. Staff are alway friendly and keen to help you in anyway
