Love the food truck in the back area and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. We will be back soon !

Service was friendly, and the atmosphere inviting.... read more Hubby and I headed here for a drink and a bite to eat before a concert at the nearby Town Hall. We loved it! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere inviting. I love that the old cobbler's shop has been restored here. I had a French rosé, while hubby had his usual ginger beer which apparently was English, and very tasty with lots of ginger flavour. We ended up with a free cheese platter (some miscommunication resulted in our getting another couple's platter-sorry!). We very happily whiled away some time in the courtyard out the back on the high stools. A food truck was due that evening out the back but by the time we left at 7.15, there was no sign of it. Thank goodness for the cheese:) You can BYO food here in fact; or grab a pizza from the nearby Il Forno restaurant and bring it on in. We are looking forward to another friendly drink here soon. Take note of the craft beers, wine and cocktails served Wed to Sunday. Oh and trivia nights my friends:)

Located in the northern suburb of Sandgate, it is owned by a group of friends who prioritize creating a lively and enjoyable experience for their customers. While they do not have a kitchen, they occasionally bring in food from local restaurants for patrons to enjoy. More importantly, they offer entertainment to keep guests entertained. This is a local venue run by locals, and they deserve support.

We recently held our Australian Modern Barber Awards night at Henderson and we definitely plan on returning for future events. Big thanks to everyone involved!
