What Karen B dislikes about Baaia:
This used to be a regular brekkie brunch spot the food was lovely, the staff friendly and obviously the location beautiful. This is our third poor experience in the last few months and we’re giving up… I think they must have changed management as the staff now are all really young, untrained and unfriendly (but I’m guessing cheap? They stand around talking and ignore people waiting. At weekends, you can’t book as the... View all feedback.
The coffee was lovely and the food was very tasty. The service was very good
Great location looking out on Bramble Bay. Great people, service and food and drinks.
The ambience in this Cafe is apparent when you first sit down. We had an inside table however could still admire the relaxing sea view. Our coffees were hot strong just how we like them.
This cafe in Sandgate is fantastic and possibly the best in the area! Located on the Sandgate foreshore, it offers a beautiful view of the water and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or coffee on a sunny day. The owners, Karen and Richard, are a delightful couple who work tirelessly to run the cafe. Their talented chefs create delicious and fresh food, and we have never had a bad meal here. They have been accommodating to our vegan needs by adding vegan options to the menu and even offering oat milk. The cafe can get busy, especially on weekends, but there is plenty of parking available. They have also opened a takeaway side next door that offers healthy juice, coffee, and salads. They provide a rug for customers who want to enjoy their food by the water. The cafe occasionally sets up a mobile coffee cart by the waterfront for quick coffee pick-ups. The food and coffee here are top-notch and although it may be a bit pricy, it’s worth every penny. The coffee beans used are smooth and delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience even better. We highly recommend this cafe and invite you to check out our reviews on our Facebook page, Kikiandthegreeky.
