This cafe in Sandgate is fantastic and possibly the best in the area! Located on the Sandgate foreshore, it offers a beautiful view of the water and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or coffee on a sunny day. The owners, Karen and Richard, are a delightful couple who work tirelessly to run the cafe. Their talented chefs create delicious and fresh food, and we have never had a bad meal here. They have been accommodating to our vegan needs by adding vegan options to the menu and even offering oat milk. The cafe can get busy, especially on weekends, but there is plenty of parking available. They have also opened a takeaway side next door that offers healthy juice, coffee, and salads. They provide a rug for customers who want to enjoy their food by the water. The cafe occasionally sets up a mobile coffee cart by the waterfront for quick coffee pick-ups. The food and coffee here are top-notch and although it may be a bit pricy, it’s worth every penny. The coffee beans used are smooth and delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience even better. We highly recommend this cafe and invite you to check out our reviews on our Facebook page, Kikiandthegreeky.

The breakfast at this restaurant is delightful. The food is fresh and healthy, and the coffee and smoothies are excellent. The only downside is that some of the meals are a bit pricey, but overall it is a fantastic spot to visit.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The fresh produce was delicious. Our family was happy with the service and we definitely plan on coming back. The field mushrooms were heavenly. The kids especially enjoyed the pancakes and ice cream for breakfast.

Review #2: Went there with family for Mother's Day lunch. Got personalised, friendly service from Robyn and her crew. Pro tip: Order what Robyn suggests you won't be disappointed. Review #1: Great service, tasty food, fantastic views. Went there with a biking group and got to taste the bunny chow which was pretty tasty! Good coffee as well!
