What a disappointment, this has been our favourite place to have fish and chips at Sandgate. However, today we arrived early to beat the rush and our order had not arrived after 45 minutes. When I demanded my money back they refused and said it was ready. No apologies, even though many customers after us had received their order. When we did finally receive our meal it was cold, and we couldn't eat most of it. We wont be going back again.
An extensive seafood menu plus other offerings. Fish on Flinders has dine in & take away options. This licensed restaurant is suitable for casual dining with views of The Bay across to Redcliffe Peninsular. The food is delicious and ample quantities will satisfy your appetite. Service is quick and the food fresh. The gluten free menu is extensive being one of the few restaurants that offers GF chips. Across the road from ocean walk / bike path and an extensive playground. Photographers should find many opportunities and the local kite surfers intreague visitors on sunny days
We visited this restaurant and ordered 3 different types of fish & chips- 1 grilled, 1 crumbed, 1 battered. All were excellent. The chips were fresh, clean and tasty. The Greek Salad was a bit of a let-down. The feta was chopped so minusculely and the olives were not Kalamata and were tiny and then cut in half.Service was good and reasonably quick.
I hadn't visited Flinders in a while, but decided to return recently and ordered two crumbed fish, calamari, and chips.
