Bay Bistro & Bar - Brighton

My family is here several times and we love the fabulous sea view and frequent live music. thenyjazz is really great what a smooth, beautiful sound. the tapas is delicious (especially the Arancini balls... but for a hungry family, the lava. chocolate cake was probably our esteemed court.

At an older friend for a coffee on the other day we ended up in this water front café where I found that the staff was very helpful, polite and friendly we can have a great coffee that my friend had with scenes marmelade and saw while I...although they were a little flat, he said they were very nice. the caffe is at a great place and was pretty busy eating a lot.

This was our second visit since it changed hands from Sonomas and we have been very disappointed both times. While the staff are friendly the service leaves a lot to be desired and sometimes the staff appear to not really know what they are doing....Both times we visited staff were standing around talking and oblivious to customers trying to catch their attention. Food was served without cutlery and for some reason it took them ages to find some. Coffee had improved slightly on the second visit but still not great. Food is okay.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and once again, it was fantastic. The Tapas lunch was delicious with generous portions and incredibly tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. Despite dining indoors because of the windy weather, we still had a great view of the sea. Lovely!

Enjoyed a family Sunday lunch here. Service was very mediocre and somewhat slow. Yes they were busy, but only two thirds full. However, the food was excellent. Some of the softest, well prepared calamari we have ever eaten. Choose from tapas (they looked ok, but...were mostly fried), or an al la carte menu. Not expense. Just don't be in a hurry.
